This page explains what happens to information you give us on cntstudios.com. The site is run by CNT STUDIOS LTD (company number 17460486, registered office 11a Bulstrode Road, Ipswich, England, IP2 8HA), which is the data controller. Questions go to contact@cntstudios.com.

The proposal box

When you press "Show me the software", the words you typed are sent to TypeSafe, whose model Jev chooses the proposal you see. We do not keep what you typed: it is not stored in our database or our logs, and it is gone once the proposal is shown.

TypeSafe processes the text to return an answer. TypeSafe states that it does not train its models on customer data; its own privacy policy and data processing terms apply to that processing, which may take place outside the UK. Please do not type personal details about other people into the box.

Enquiries and the contact form

If you send us an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. If you sent it from a proposal, we also keep the proposal the site showed you, so we can reply to what you actually saw.

We use these details only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to discuss and deliver the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you asked us to take before entering into a contract.

The enquiry is stored in our database on Cloudflare and forwarded to our email inbox. Before it is stored, Jev reads it once more to label it (for example "new project" or "likely spam"), so the right person sees it first. Every enquiry is read by a person; nothing is answered automatically.

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case our client records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Bot protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a script, is sending them. Turnstile processes technical information from your browser for that purpose only.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps short-lived technical logs to run and protect it.

Who else handles your information

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email contact@cntstudios.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
